How to Say What Something is Like

Use the word tankou to show what something is like


Use the word tankou to show what something is like in Creole

Consider These Examples


1. Ou tankou yon wa → You are like a king

2. Ou tankou yon rèn → You are like a queen

3. Li tankou yon ti bebe → He is like a little baby


How to Say What Something Looks Like

Use the word sanble to show what something looks like.

You must use sanble with the word avèk, ak or tankou.

It does not matter which one you use.
